Interested in telecoms security and keen to build your career in a fast-moving, global environment? We are looking for a Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our Threat Intelligence team in Toronto, reporting to the Head of Threat Intelligence and working closely with experienced analysts across our global team. This is an opportunity to develop your technical and client-facing skills while helping us identify and respond to evolving threats across the telecoms landscape.

Role and Key Responsibilities

Based in Toronto, you will analyse customer deployment data, investigate emerging threats and help maintain security solutions on Enea client platforms. You will take ownership of client questions and security reviews, working independently while supported by regional and global colleagues. Some scheduled Saturday or Sunday shift coverage will form part of the role.

Key responsibilities include:

• Create, configure and maintain security solutions on Enea client platforms.
• Monitor the telecoms threat landscape and keep your knowledge of relevant security developments current.
• Analyse data collected from customer deployments to identify, investigate and document potential threats.
• Deliver security reviews for Enea clients, respond independently to client questions and manage expectations.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, including where commercial considerations are relevant.
• Work independently on assigned activities while collaborating with regional and global Threat Intelligence colleagues.
• Participate in agreed shift coverage, including some Saturday or Sunday work.

Qualifications, Key Skills and Competence

Required Qualifications

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related technical field.
• A strong interest in telecoms and security technology, with curiosity about an evolving threat landscape.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and basic familiarity with SQL and database concepts.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP and DNS, together with an understanding of GSM network fundamentals.
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Availability to participate in scheduled weekend shift coverage as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in telecoms, cybersecurity, threat intelligence, network or security analysis, or a related technical environment.
• Experience with messaging systems and architectures.
• Knowledge of shell scripting or a scripting language such as Python, Ruby or Perl.
• Experience analysing customer or operational data, investigating security issues or contributing to security reviews.
• Experience working in a global, client-facing or fast-moving technical environment.
