The Health Evaluation and Analytics Lab (HEAL) at NYU Langone Medical Center is a collaborative initiative between the NYU Wagner School of Public Service and NYU Langone Medical Center. HEAL leverages New York Medicaid and other state administrative data to advance health and healthcare research. Our mission is to enhance the administration of the New York Medicaid program and contribute to national health and healthcare scholarship.
NYU Wagner currently has a full-time opportunity for a Junior Research Scientist to contribute to rigorous, policy-relevant research about the New York State health care system, social determinants of health, and Medicaid innovation. The Junior Research Scientist will work in close collaboration with faculty investigators to develop and implement analytic strategies, manage large administrative datasets, and generate insights that inform clinical practice and policy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical expertise and the ability to contribute to scholarly dissemination.
Responsibilities include
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $62,400 - $70,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
