deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Jr. Radar System Analyst in Huntsville, AL.

deciBel Research is seeking a junior level radar system analyst to support Modeling & Simulation (M&S) analysis efforts for digital and hardware-in-the-loop radar system representations on an open systems architecture platform.

The successful candidate will work alongside other analysts and engineers to ensure M&S capabilities are implemented to meet system requirements, support development and test activities, and perform root-cause and deep-dive analysis of data anomalies.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related discipline

Experience Requirements:

• 1+ years' experience in technical data analysis on DoD programs.
• Experience with Linux OS.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Matlab
• Strong deductive reasoning skills
• Understanding of basic statistics
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis and clearly communicate results with team members and stakeholders
• Ability to generate clear, concise presentation of analysis results (customer charts vs engineering charts)

Special Skills Desired:

• Familiarity with scientific data formats such as H5
• Familiarity with data reduction techniques
• Familiarity with DoD radars and/or C2BMC
