Junior Quality Inspector - Incoming Inspection (f/m/d)

As a Junior Quality Inspector in Incoming Inspection, you will become part of a dedicated team in a technologically demanding project environment. You will support the inspection, documentation, and conformity assurance of materials and components, thereby making an important contribution to the quality, reliability, and traceability of our products and processes.

Your Tasks

  • Perform incoming and outgoing goods inspections in accordance with defined inspection plans as well as internal and project-specific quality requirements
  • Inspect and document the conformity of parts, materials, and components, and ensure compliance with specified environmental and transportation conditions
  • Record and document inspection results in SAP and maintain or create inspection requirements for new or modified materials
  • Create and process Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), coordinating with the responsible Quality colleagues as required
  • Review, maintain, and, where required, update quality-relevant material data, including expiration dates, batch numbers, and serial numbers
  • Create and maintain required accompanying and quality documentation, such as component history records and Mate/Demate Records
  • Support logistics activities related to incoming and outgoing goods inspections
  • Actively contribute to internal improvement initiatives aimed at continuously optimizing quality and inspection processes
  • Support Quality Inspectors in day-to-day project activities as required

Your Qualifications

  • Successfully completed technical/vocational training, ideally with an advanced qualification as a certified technician or Bachelor, or a comparable qualification
  • Ideally, at least two years of relevant professional experience in quality inspection, incoming goods inspection, manufacturing inspection, or a comparable technical environment
  • Experience in performing and maintaining traceable documentation of technical inspections and tests
  • Ideally, experience with SAP, particularly in documenting inspection results and maintaining material and inspection data
  • Experience in handling quality deviations, quality notifications, or non-conformance processes is an advantage
  • Strong quality awareness combined with a careful, structured, and solution-oriented approach
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to make sound decisions within your area of responsibility
  • Willingness to work shifts when required and to support project or campaign activities
  • Willingness to travel as required by project needs
