Junior Quality Controller Food Manufacturing

• Location: Epping Industria, Cape Town
• Salary: R12 000 to R16,000 per month CTC (aligned to experience).

Are you a detail-driven individual with a passion for food safety and product quality? We are looking for a Junior Quality Controller to join our factory team and play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards.

In this role, you'll be hands-on with in-process checks, GMP inspections, hygiene monitoring, and documentation control, while supporting the Quality Manager in keeping the site audit-ready.

Job duties:

• Performing in-process and end-of-line checks (weights, seals, coding, labels, sensory).
• Assisting with GMP, sanitation verification, allergen control, and hygiene monitoring.
• Maintaining records and quality documentation.
• Supporting audits, non-conformance follow-up, and staff compliance training.

Requirements:

• A qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology, or equivalent (preferred).
• 1-2 years experience in food or beverage manufacturing.
• Basic understanding of GMP and HACCP.
• Detail-focused, organised, and confident with Excel.
• Willing to work shifts and be hands-on on the factory floor.
