Your Mission
We are seeking a junior Python Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications, API integrations, and automation solutions that support HOERBIGER's global business operations. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern technologies, collaborate with international teams, and contribute to key digital transformation initiatives.
How you will make a difference
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Python-based applications, services, and reusable modules.
- Design, build, and integrate REST APIs to connect internal and external business systems.
- Process, transform, and validate data from multiple sources, including APIs, JSON, CSV, and databases.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code aligned with software engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.
- Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Support source code management, deployment processes, and CI/CD practices.
- Assist with application deployment and maintenance using Docker and related technologies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation as required.
What you should be good at
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of Python programming fundamentals and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with pytest/unittest, debugging, logging, and code quality practices.
- Practical experience with Git and understanding of CI/CD concepts.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ownership mindset and accountability.
- Passionate about learning new technologies.
- Effective collaborator with strong communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Pandas and NumPy.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data integration concepts.
- Exposure to Docker and containerized deployment.
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to cloud technologies.
