
Purpose of Position
As a Publisher Development Manager, you are responsible for both administrative and operational duties and responsibilities within the team, aligning closely with advertiser account managers. You will be liaising with publishers on a daily basis, being their initial touchpoint regarding partnership inquiries & market consultation.
Additionally, you will be responsible for qualifying, recruiting and connecting new and underachieving publishers with regional programs in effort to further optimize their publisher diversity.
Your work focuses on operational execution and supporting the tactical activities around the local publisher development strategy. You are responsible for the delivery of short-term objectives, concrete activities and tasks, while supporting the strategic guidelines for mid- & long-term objectives for the region, aligning on the broader strategic initiatives set within the team, office and company.
Key Tasks
Identify, qualify and recruit new high potential publishers relevant to local advertiser needs
Liaise with advertiser account managers in developing and distributing relevant and/or seasonal publisher promotional opportunities
Support the introduction & specific trainings of new publisher models to the advertiser account management team
Deliver market gap and benchmark analyses across publisher verticals to identify and prioritize new partnership development
Develop market & competitor analysis activities to enrich the understanding of market and industry developments, specifically around policies, practices, innovation & trends within the team
Ensure all local publisher opportunities and sales pipelines are recorded and upkept in Salesforce
Stay informed on market trends & industry innovations to help drive new value-adding opportunities for the network
