Job Description

Our Exciting Opportunity

Are you a recent graduate looking to start your career in project planning, project governance and project financial management within a global technology company?

Join Ericsson’s North Europe Project Office (NEU PMO) and gain hands-on experience supporting Customer Project Managers, Planners and project finance colleagues to plan, coordinate and report on customer projects. This role is designed for graduates who are eager to learn, enjoy working with data and structure, and want to build a strong foundation in project delivery, governance, reporting and responsible business practices.

You will receive structured support, training and mentoring during your first 12 months while building the skills and confidence to grow into future roles in project planning, project management or project financial management within the PMO.

You will:

  • Support the NEU PMO team in delivering structured project planning, reporting and governance activities for customer projects. Some examples of supporting activities you may be involved in.
  • Help translate project and contract information into clear planning inputs, customer deliverables, milestones and dependencies under guidance from Customer Project Managers.
  • Support planning and scheduling activities using relevant tools such as Site Tracker, Global Chronos and SAP.
  • Prepare and maintain project status reports, dashboards and action trackers to give stakeholders clear visibility of progress, risks, issues and forecasts.
  • Help maintain project documentation, version control and Project Library structure to support audit readiness and effective governance.
  • Use data analysis to identify gaps, inconsistencies or potential risks, and raise these with Customer Project Managers, senior planners or finance colleagues.
  • Collaborate with local and global teams including Customer Project Managers, Network Program Directors, Implementation Managers, Project Finance Managers, engineers, delivery teams, customers and partners.

You will join a structured 12-month development and mentoring programme designed for your first role after university. You will learn Ericsson ways of working, NEU PMO practices, project tools and reporting routines, while shadowing experienced Project Planners, Project Managers and MCOs. As you develop, you will progressively take ownership of planning and reporting activities with regular feedback, a clear development plan and access to Ericsson learning resources.

This role is intended for candidates at the start of their career who are motivated to learn, contribute and grow within the PMO environment.

To be successful in the role you have:

  • A recent university degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Business, Engineering, Project Management, Finance, Economics, Data/Analytics or similar.
  • Strong motivation to build a career in project management, PMO and/or project financial management within Ericsson.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail, comfortable working with numbers, data and structured information.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through to completion.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to different stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to build relationships across functions and cultures.
  • Proactive, curious and continuous-improvement mindset – open to feedback and keen to learn new tools and methods.
  • Good working knowledge of standard office tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word); any exposure to planning, reporting or analytics tools is an advantage.
  • Working proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.

What we offer
