The Junior Project Manager will support the delivery of digital transformation initiatives across the business. This role is ideal for someone early in their project management career who is keen to develop their skills in delivering technology-enabled change, improving processes, and supporting business stakeholders.

You will work closely 5-days on-site with the wider Digital Transformation team, the wider business, and delivery teams to help plan, coordinate, and track projects that improve systems, data, and ways of working.

Requirements

  • Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of digital and process improvement projects
  • Create and maintain project plans
  • Identify and track risks, actions, and dependencies
  • Run change management workshops to complete impact assessments
  • Support requirement identification, capture and prioritisation
  • Support clear and timely communication with stakeholders, by providing regular project status updates
  • Act as a point of contact for day-to-day project queries
  • Support programme governance forums (e.g. working groups, steering committees)
  • Help document current and future state processes
  • Assist with testing, training materials, and go-live activities
  • Capture lessons learned and continuous improvement opportunities

Person Specification

Essential

  • Experience managing projects and supporting project delivery
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with a range of stakeholders
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
  • A proactive, curious, and structured approach to problem-solving

Desirable

  • Exposure to digital, IT, or business transformation projects
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2)
  • Experience working with business systems, data, or process improvement initiatives
  • Understanding of basic project governance and reporting
  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Working towards or interest in project management qualifications
