Could you be the full-time Project Coordinator – Track Access in Toronto, ON we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your railway coordination expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a vital role in ensuring that all track access requirements are planned and delivered in alignment with Canadian Rail Operating Rules (CROR). Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as subsystem teams and customer representatives), attend weekly stakeholder meetings, and manage work area handover and handback processes, among other responsibilities.
You’ll specifically take care of booking worksites through the Metrolinx Network Access Planning Tool (NAPT) system and coordinating concurrent activities, but also support the Track Access Manager in ensuring compliance with General Engineering Instructions (GEI).
We’ll look to you for:
Identifying and obtaining administrative authorizations required for work execution
Assisting in the preparation of administrative application forms
Monitoring authorization delivery and validity periods
Addressing issues and managing stakeholder requirements through weekly meetings
Verifying and resolving reported clashes and coordination issues
Leading work area handover/handover processes and documenting any snags
Assessing progress of works against the schedule
Implementing the 4M process
Identifying and reporting Environment Health & Safety (EHS) hazards
Logging and reporting safety-critical information, including accidents and incidents
Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
1-3 years of railway experience preferred
Awareness of risk assessment processes

Compensation
The expected compensation for this role is $70,000 – $85,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
