Become an EXpert as a Junior Project Coordinator – Life Sciences

At EX Squared LATAM, we partner with global organizations to deliver high-impact digital and operational solutions. We are currently looking for a Junior Project Coordinator with a strong scientific background to support service-based projects within the Life Sciences industry. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow in project management while working in a client-facing, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

• 
  Coordinate meetings, schedules, and project logistics
• 
  Maintain project plans, timelines, and action trackers
• 
  Monitor tasks, milestones, risks, and issues; ensure follow-up and proper escalation
• 
  Prepare status reports, dashboards, and project documentation
• 
  Facilitate communication across internal teams, clients, and external partners
• 
  Support projects involving scientific or laboratory-based workflows

What You’ll Bring

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (Biology, Chemistry, or related) – required
• 
  1+ year of experience in project coordination or project management
• 
  Experience supporting client-facing projects in services or consulting environments
• 
  Familiarity with laboratory, scientific, or research-based workflows
• 
  Ability to understand and translate technical/scientific concepts for different audiences
• 
  Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
• 
  Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Jira) and Excel
• 
  English level: C1 or higher (mandatory)
• 
  Based in Costa Rica with availability to attend the office twice per month
