Junior Project Coordinator -267051

UGL are seeking a Junior Project Coordinator to join our team supporting a maintenance project. This will be a full time position based on site in Pinjarra.

The Junior Project Coordinator provides essential support to Project and Site Management teams, focusing on the coordination of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines as they relate to project execution. This role ensures seamless planning and execution of project scopes, addresses on-site challenges, and upholds the organisation's safety and quality standards.

Key Objectives

  • Ensure overall safety, quality, productivity, and performance for activities under management.

  • Promote a positive safety culture by supporting the development and enforcement of procedures.

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage project-related risks on appropriate risk registers.

  • Provide resolution to on-site issues and escalate unresolved matters to the Site Manager or Project Management.

  • Support the development of work scopes, execution plans, and maintenance activities.

  • Facilitate project compliance with HSE, productivity, planning, and quality standards.

  • Collaborates with Site Managers, Superintendents, Quality and HSE Managers, Supervisors, and Client Liaison teams to drive desired project outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in training and development programs provided for site personnel.

  • Perform formal audits and random inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.

  • Coordinate all execution scopes in line with project timelines and plans.

  • Input and interface with scope management and planning systems.

  • Ensure application procedures and safety policies are adhered to on-site.

  • Minimize interface disruptions and promote integrated planning across functional groups.

  • Assess constructability methodology to ensure compliance with project schedules.

  • Maintain materials availability and assignment to teams efficiently.

  • Prepare and deliver project status reports as needed.

  • Facilitate coordination meetings and interface/compatibility discussions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree

  • Basic experience in project coordination in construction, industrial services, or related industries.

  • Ability to adapt and work effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Understanding of safety and quality standards in industrial contracting environments.

  • Knowledge or experience within multi-cultural workforces preferred.
