CAPEX Projects Controls & Governance

Your new role
As a Junior Project Controls Engineer, you will be directly responsible for steering project progress measurement activities in one or more investment projects. You bring a strong engineering background and are expected to bridge cost, risk, and schedule disciplines to ensure a fully integrated project controls perspective. Acting as a trusted sparring partner to project management, you will ensure high-quality reporting and decision support throughout the project lifecycle.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing, implementing, and optimising project controls tools and systems to drive consistency and efficiency
- Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on project progress and performance to support informed decision-making
- Setting up, maintaining, and updating comprehensive project schedules in Primavera P6
- Analysing schedule data, identifying critical paths, and providing actionable insights to project leadership
- Generating reports and visualisations using Primavera P6 for clear stakeholder communication
- Collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency across disciplines
- Leveraging technical skills and digital tools to automate reporting and improve decision-making processes

Here, you will work at the intersection of engineering, finance, and project management, contributing to some of the most ambitious capital projects in the pharmaceutical industry.
Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for a Junior Project Controls Engineer with a data-driven mindset and a genuine interest in project scheduling and controls.
You'll bring with you:
- An engineering degree, preferably within one of the following disciplines: Design & Innovation, Process & Innovation, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering
- A data-driven approach with strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster stakeholder relationships and facilitate effective collaboration
- Strong people and team collaboration skills, with a natural ability to work across disciplines
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; Danish would be an advantage
It would be an advantage if you also have:
- Experience with Primavera P6 (schedule setup, maintenance, analysis, reporting)
- Project experience, particularly within large investment projects
- Experience collaborating across finance, engineering, and project teams
- Interest in advanced project scheduling and digital tools

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 499,600.00 to 734,400.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
