As a Junior Product Owner, you will help define the vision, product roadmap, and backlog delivery for technology-based products and customer experiences within our company.

In this role, you will support the Senior Product Owner and development team in identifying product requirements and features that deliver value to both organizational stakeholders and customers. The position does so by providing data analysis, knowledge and engagement of our business, facilitating customer research, participating in agile development methodologies, and building business relationships with our Customer Care Center team members to gain an understanding of their needs and how the products can support those needs.

Additionally, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality, reliability, and availability. Depending on the product area, you may also be responsible for the operational management of specific product components and user interfaces, helping to create and maintain exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to creating new, and improving existing technology based products and customer experiences by refining requirements of specific features and helping to determine priority of development. This will be achieved through data analysis, customer/stakeholder engagement, research, etc. As a supporting business role within a self-organizing DEV team, this position will also elaborate on user stories to provide details to ensure that the desired end-user experience is achieved. (30%)
  • Participate in authoring and executing user acceptance testing (UAT) as required for product releases to ensure the highest possible quality for the organization. Work closely with Senior Product Owner and IT to ensure product quality. (20%)
  • Create and deliver instructions, training, and communication to organization stakeholders regarding the operation and impact of product releases/launches. Work closely with customer care center staff on agent training plans surrounding major release activity. (10%)
  • For products that require business use of User Interfaces (UIs) and User Experience (UX),prepare and update content, settings and system logic to facilitate end-user experiences. (10%)
  • Categorize bugs by severity and make decisions on release impact. (10%)
  • Manage and coordinate the deployment of manual customer email communications with business stakeholders, and provide post-deployment reporting and insights to support business objectives (20%)
Qualifikationen

Qualifications:

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of application. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
This position requires a minimum of 3 years of overall work experience. Preferred experience includes:

  • Business-General: 3 years
  • Customer Service: 3 years
  • Information Technology: 3 years
  • Marketing: 2 years
  • Vendor Management: 2 years

Education:
High School Diploma/(GED) is required, Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Recommended majors include:

  • Business Administration
  • Information Technology


Additional Knowledge:Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Proven ability to effectively balance strategic planning, execution, and operational accountability in a fast-paced environment.

    Experience collaborating with cross-functional or global teams is desirable.

    You will be working on the Document Center, Notification Platform, and ECM, previous exposure to these platforms would be beneficial.

    Familiarity with email communication and campaign management platforms is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
