Job Description
PRIORITY Quality Consultants is seeking a Procurement Specialist for the Banking Sector on a 1-year contract to support procurement and sourcing activities within a leading financial institution, with strong potential for contract renewal based on business needs and performance.
The role involves managing end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement activities including supplier identification, evaluation, and selection aligned with the banking sector regulations.
- Review and validate procurement requests, ensuring completeness and accuracy of related documentation (SAP/SRM, business cases, cost allocation details, etc.).
- Communicate with the Bank’s business units and Group subsidiaries to align procurement specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines.
- Assess and consolidate procurement requests, recommending appropriate sourcing strategies and suppliers.
- Organize and manage tender procedures (RFP/RFQ/RFO) in line with established SLAs and procurement policies.
- Evaluate commercial and financial proposals, including pricing and payment terms, and participate in supplier negotiations.
- Prepare reports, recommendations, and presentations for the relevant approval committees.
- Monitor procurement activities and contribute to category analysis and budgeting processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and procurement governance standards.
- Represent the Directorate in internal and external procurement-related meetings and propose process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of procurement experience, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
- Good knowledge of procurement regulations, banking compliance, and contract management.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and procurement software tools.
- Fluency in English and Greek, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
