We are looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Junior Procurement Sourcing Specialist to join our Strategic Sourcing team. In this role, you will play a hands-on part in selecting, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers across our Supply Chain categories (such as third-party logistics (3PL), freight/transportation, warehousing, and packaging).
You will support Category Managers by conducting market research, managing the competitive bidding process, and analyzing supplier proposals to help us secure the best total cost of ownership (TCO) while ensuring supply chain resilience.
RFx Management Support: Lead the preparation, distribution, and coordination of Requests for Proposal (RFP) for non-critical supply chain categories, with the support of your manager.
Commercial & Bid Analysis: Build comparative bid models (clean sheets) to analyze supplier pricing structures, evaluate proposals side-by-side, and identify hidden cost drivers.
Supplier Market Intelligence: Conduct proactive market research and benchmarking studies to stay ahead of industry trends, capacity constraints, fuel surcharges, and macroeconomic shifts impacting supply chain categories.
Negotiation Preparation: Assist Category Managers in preparing negotiation strategies by compiling historical spend data, performance metrics, and market price baselines.
Contracting Support: Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to assist in the drafting, reviewing, and execution of supplier agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
Supplier Onboarding & Qualification: Shepherd newly sourced vendors through the internal onboarding, risk assessment, and compliance approval processes.
