Descripción del empleo

The Junior Power Originator is responsible for supporting business origination activities and contributing to the growth and optimization of the company’s power portfolio. This role involves working closely with demand and generation counterparties, assisting in the development of commercial opportunities, and supporting the execution and management of power transactions across different markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market analysis to identify commercial opportunities and support the structuring of power products tailored to market needs.
  • Monitor and analyze BRP imbalance costs, contributing to risk management and portfolio optimization.
  • Manage the Endur booking process, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting of transactions.
  • Prepare and deliver daily Profit and Loss (PnL) reports, supporting transparency and financial control.
  • Support the delivery of Energy Management Services for third parties, including hedging strategies and long-term contractual structures such as Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and tolling agreements.
  • Follow up on counterparty settlements and invoicing processes, coordinating closely with the back-office team to ensure timely and accurate reconciliation.

Participate in the negotiation of power products with counterparties, supporting commercial discussions and contract execution.

Requisitos

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with counterparties.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and make quick, well-informed decisions.
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
