About the Role

Reporting to the Director, Retail Planning, you will be responsible for driving allocation, inventory optimisation, sales forecasting and Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning. You'll use data-driven insights to maximise sales opportunities, improve stock productivity and support profitable business growth.

Based at our Head Office in the heart of the CBD, located at 388 George Street 2000, this is a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract, working from home and in the office weekly.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute allocation and replenishment strategies to ensure the right stock is distributed to the right stores at the right time.
• Monitor inventory performance, identify overstock and understock risks, and recommend actions to optimise stock productivity.
• Support Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning through sales, inventory and purchasing analysis, contributing to forecasting and planning decisions.
• Analyse sales trends, inventory levels and product performance to improve forecasting accuracy, profitability and sell-through.
• Manage inventory lifecycle activities, including store ranging, size profiling, stock transfers, markdown recommendations and aged stock management.
• Produce reporting, insights and analysis to support planning decisions and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Planning, Buying and Retail teams to drive commercial outcomes and improve business performance.
• Contribute to the implementation of planning best practices, systems enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

• 2+ years' experience in retail merchandise planning, allocation or inventory planning.
• Apparel, fashion, specialty or boutique retail experience highly regarded.
• Strong analytical and numerical capability with advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to interpret sales, stock and inventory data to drive business outcomes.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
• Comfortable working under pressure and managing competing priorities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
