Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the end-to-end payroll process for all Holcim employees in France, ensuring strict compliance with French legislation, internal policies, and SLAs
Collaborating closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless information flow and data accuracy.
Accurately calculating and processing salaries, bonuses, deductions, and statutory contributions (e.g., social security, taxes, health insurance).
Preparing and submitting precise declarations to relevant French authorities (e.g., URSSAF, DSN) and managing related internal/external reporting and reconciliations.
Providing comprehensive customer service related to employees topics like pay, benefits, and taxes, efficiently resolving payroll and administrative queries.
Monitoring timesheet processes, absences management, and ensuring accurate reflection in payroll calculations and payments from social security.
Maintain robust control documentation, process flows, and procedures, actively participating in payroll audits and ensuring adherence to Internal Control System (ICS) requirements.
Actively contributing to operational improvement initiatives within the Payroll function, driving efficiency and best practices.
Your qualifications, experience and skills
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Payroll Management, Accounting, or a relevant field.
Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, with significant exposure to French payroll processing.
Knowledge of French labor law (Code du Travail), social security regulations, and tax legislation.
Proficiency in SAP HR payroll module and strong MS Excel / Google Spreadsheets skills.
Fluent in French and proficient in English – excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills, high degree of accuracy in all payroll calculations, data entry and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity, following GDPR regulation.
