Junior Parts Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior Parts Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Pfaff Autoworks Markham Now in partnership with North America’s largest automotive retailer, Lithia and Driveway, it’s your chance to work for a Fortune 200 company and hone your skills at our state-of-the-art body shop facility in Markham!

As a Junior Parts Coordinator, you are responsible for the efficient management and flow of parts through the collision repair process. Working closely with Estimators / Repair Planners and Technicians to ensure all necessary parts are received, inspected, mirror matched, posted and organized for timely repairs, while also maintaining an organized parts department.

Here’s What You’ll be Doing:

  • Order Processing: Receive, inspect, and verify parts orders from vendors, checking for correct quantities and damage. Promptly enter received parts into the management system.

  • Mirror Matching: Physically mirror match received parts to the disassembled components or photos in the management system to ensure they are correct for the specific vehicle repair.

  • Inventory Control: Organize and label all parts with repair order (RO) information. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe parts storage area.

  • Tracking and Updates: Monitor and track all outstanding parts orders, process returns for incorrect or damaged parts, and provide timely updates to estimators and technicians on parts ETA and backorders.

  • Technical Support: Assist technicians in supplying inventoried parts when requested.

  • Quality Control: Ensure parts are properly staged and ready for the technicians' use.

  • Returns and Credits: Process and track returns for incorrect or defective parts and ensure credits are received.

Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Knowledge of Vehicle Components and Systems.

  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must be a positive and team-oriented individual.

  • Proficiency in using computers, including Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00/hour
