We are seeking a motivated and collaborative person to support our legal operations and assist associates, senior associates and senior paralegals. The Junior Paralegal will provide essential support across a range of legal matters, assisting with document preparation, case management, legal research and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone at the start of their paralegal career who is looking to gain broad exposure to client work and develop practical paralegal experience.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative team and work closely with senior paralegals and associates to ensure timely and accurate delivery of legal services. There will be opportunities to learn and contribute to process improvements, including adopting technology and workflow tools that enhance efficiency. The Swedish Legal team is located in Stockholm, Malmö and Gothenburg.
Assist with the preparation, filing and management of legal documents, correspondence and court bundles
Conduct legal and factual research using different tools.
Support case and matter management, including maintaining case files and updating case management systems
Draft routine letters, client updates and standard forms under supervision
Liaise with clients, counsels, courts and third parties in a professional manner
Assist with billing tasks, time recording and administrative duties as required
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care
Contribute to process improvements and adopt technology solutions to streamline workflows
High school education and possibly Paralegal Studies, or a related field
Some experience in a legal or administrative role is desirable
Good online research and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational ability
Clear written and verbal Swedish and English communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn practice-specific software
Team player with a proactive, professional attitude
