Reports to Commercial Team
About The Company
Our client is a specialist recruitment business supporting technical and scientific equipment companies across the USA. We work closely with OEMs and service organisations in highly technical markets, helping them identify and hire hard-to-find talent across engineering, commercial, and leadership functions.
The Outbound Commercial Operator ole is part of the company’s Argentina-based resourcing function.
This role exists because the market is already mapped, the target account universe is relatively small, and the main bottleneck is execution consistency rather than strategy. The operator’s job is to make sure the company stays in front of the right service leaders every week.
The operator is not there to invent a separate sales process. They are there to run the manager’s outbound machine: maintain target accounts, prepare and send LinkedIn and email campaigns, follow up intelligently, spot triggers, and escalate warm opportunities at the right moment.
Because the company sells into niche, service-heavy technical markets, the operator must understand instrument categories, buyer psychology, hiring pain points, geography constraints, and how different service organizations behave. Good outbound in these markets is relevance-led, not volume-led.
Key Responsibilities
1. Outbound Campaign Execution
Plan, write, and send LinkedIn and email outreach
Follow structured sequences (initial message + follow-ups)
Ensure messaging is:
Relevant and problem-focused
Short, direct, and aligned with the commercial manager's voice
Prioritize quality over volume
2. Target Account Management

For each account, track:
Key contacts (service leaders, decision-makers)
Market classification (one of the company’s 11 science markets)
Pain points and hiring needs
Outreach history and next steps
Continuously update and refine account information
3. Market & Buyer Research
Understand:
Instrument categories and science markets
Buyer roles (e.g., Service Directors, VPs, Owners)
Client types (OEMs, ISOs, refurbished groups, etc.)
Identifylikely hiring challenges and business problems behind each account
4. Trigger Identification
Monitor and act on signals such as:
Job postings
Company growth or acquisitions
Leadership changes
Events or conferences
Adjust outreach messaging based on these triggers
5. Follow-Up & Pipeline Management
Send thoughtful follow-ups (not repetitive)
Keep outreach consistent without spamming
Maintain engagement across accounts over time
6. Opportunity Escalation
Identify and escalate:
Positive replies
Warm leads
Meeting opportunities
Pass them to Commercial Manager with enough context to act quickly
7. Market Intelligence Gathering

Market feedback
Share useful insights to improve strategy
8. Reporting & Performance Tracking
Provide concise weekly updates on:

Focus on commercial impact, not vanity metrics
