We are actively recruiting for several Junior Operations Coordinator positions at Stolt Tank Containers (STC), reflecting our ongoing growth at the Slovenia hub. Since opening our new office in Ljubljana in the summer of 2023, this location has become a key center of expertise and expansion within STC’s global operations. We are looking for multiple profiles as Junior Operations Coordinator for Stolt Tank Containers (STC). In the summer of 2023, we opened our new office in Ljubljana, and we are continuously growing.
Stolt Tank Containers (STC) is a leading provider of door-to-door transportation services for bulk- liquid chemicals and food-grade products. With a fleet of more than 50,000 tank containers, STC is the only operator with its own worldwide network of 22 owned and joint venture depots. What you will be doing
In this role, you’ll play a key part in making sure everything runs smoothly by keeping track of important paperwork for imports.
You’ll also help with billing and make a real difference by supporting safety and compliance, this means reporting any situations where suppliers haven’t followed the rules, so we can keep everyone safe and maintain high standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Take ownership of the import journey, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
• Keep customers informed and supported by sharing arrival updates, sending essential documents, and coordinating with partners for seamless cargo releases.
• Make sure billing is accurate and timely, so customers always know what to expect.
• Prepare invoices for any additional services, tailored to customer agreements and our company standards.
• Champion safety and compliance, proactively spotting and resolving any challenges to keep operations running safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
We are seeking postgraduate candidates who are now ready to take their first step into a corporate role within the logistics sector. If you are motivated to learn and eager to gain hands-on experience, we encourage you to apply - prior logistics experience is a plus but not required.
• Bachelor`s degree and fluency in English is mandatory. Good command of French is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively gather information to suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Problem-solving skills with a capacity to think critically and meticulous attention to details.
