Responsibilities
Role Purpose
The Junior Operational Risk Analyst supports StoneX’s e risk management framework by assisting with the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of risks across the firm’s global businesses. The role contributes to maintaining a strong risk culture and ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations across multiple jurisdictions.
Roles and Responsibilities ( not limited to):-
- Support enterprise-wide risk assessments across StoneX Financial Ltd and other legal entities within the Group as required
- Assist with risk identification workshops and interviews with business, technology, and control functions
- Maintain and update the enterprise risk register, including risk statements, causes, impacts, and controls
- Support alignment with StoneX’s ORM framework and regulatory expectations (e.g., COSO ERM, ISO 31000)
- Assist in evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of key risk controls
- Support risk governance processes, including committee materials, attestations, and policy reviews
- Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs), emerging risks, and risk events
- Assist in preparing risk dashboards, heatmaps, and management reports for senior management and risk committees
- Analyse risk incidents, loss events, and trends to identify themes and control gaps
- Support ad-hoc enterprise risk projects, stress scenarios, and emerging risk assessments
- Maintain risk documentation, methodologies, and internal standards
Qualifications
Desired Technical Skills
- Foundational understanding of risk management concepts and control frameworks
- Strong Excel skills; experience with PowerPoint and data analysis
- Familiarity with GRC tools or risk systems is a plus
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in enterprise risk, operational risk, audit, compliance, finance, or a related function
- Internships or graduate rotations within financial services or regulated environments are strongly preferred

Early Careers Requirements
- Recent graduate with Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Accounting, Business, Mathematics, or a related field
- Must be authorized to work in UK for any employer
Working environment
- 4 days in the office with the flexibility to work 1 day remotely
