About the Role
The Operational Planning Specialist supports daily purchasing operations within the Supply Chain Team. The role involves accurate processing of purchase orders, stock transfer orders, and coordination with external vendors and logistics partners. It requires maintaining comprehensive internal documentation throughout the order-to-delivery cycle. The specialist collaborates cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely fulfillment of stock in assigned warehouses. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in relevant systems are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and validate domestic, import, and intercompany purchase orders / stock transfer orders
  • Cross-check purchase orders against supplier agreements for accuracy and completeness
  • Liaise with internal teams (Customer Service, Procurement, Logistics, Accounts Payable, Quality, etc.) and external partners (suppliers, warehouses) to ensure timely deliveries
  • Track shipments and support issue resolution (e.g., delivery complaints, returns)
  • Manage purchasing records and documentation (invoices, delivery notes, certificates)
  • Support performance tracking, including OTIF (On-Time In-Full) metrics
  • Assist in reporting and maintaining up-to-date supplier data
  • Monitor deliveries and maintain optimal stock levels in warehouses
  • Troubleshoot operational issues
