Who we are looking for

We are looking for a motivated Junior NLP Engineer who is interested in applying modern Natural Language Processing techniques to real-world business problems.

You may be a good fit if you have:

• Initial hands-on experience with Python and NLP or machine learning projects;
• Familiarity with transformer-based models and libraries such as Hugging Face Transformers;
• Understanding of model fine-tuning, evaluation and validation approaches;
• Basic knowledge of data preparation and machine learning pipelines;
• Familiarity with REST APIs, FastAPI, containerization or deployment concepts;
• Interest in information extraction, Named Entity Recognition and document processing;
• A structured and analytical approach to problem-solving;
• Willingness to learn, experiment and develop your technical skills;
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a technical team.

Experience with healthcare NLP, entity extraction or document-processing solutions would be an advantage.

Your future role

As a Junior NLP Engineer, you will contribute to the development of NLP solutions focused on classification, information extraction and document processing.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Fine-tuning transformer-based models for classification and extraction tasks;
• Evaluating model performance and supporting model improvements;
• Building and maintaining data preparation and model training pipelines;
• Contributing to the development of the model serving layer;
• Developing and maintaining FastAPI endpoints;
• Supporting containerization and deployment activities;
• Working on information extraction and Named Entity Recognition solutions;
• Contributing to document-processing and healthcare NLP use cases;
• Collaborating with other team members throughout the development lifecycle;
• Documenting your work and sharing technical knowledge within the team.
