Playtech's Infrastructure unit is looking for a proactive Junior Network Operations Engineer with great problem solving skills. You'll join a global Network Operations team responsible for keeping our network infrastructure stable, secure, and reliable. You'll work with experienced engineers, modern technologies, and large-scale environments while developing your networking skills.

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

• Perform network configuration changes.
• Work with routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and cloud networking technologies.
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, firewall, DNS, and connectivity issues.
• Assist with infrastructure upgrades, maintenance, and deployments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams across the company.

Qualifications

Components for success. You have...

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs).
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• The ability to work in a technical team environment.
• Good English communication skills.

You'll get extra points for...

• Knowledge of Linux.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Check Point, Palo Alto, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with BGP, OSPF, VPNs, or firewalls.
• Basic scripting or automation skills (Python, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash).
• CCNA, JNCIA, or similar certification.
