Job Description

The Junior Graphic Designer is responsible for providing support to the marketing department, including the senior graphic designer and marketing manager. The Junior Graphic Designer will interface at all levels of the marketing department by assisting in numerous marketing projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce a wide range of print and digital marketing materials, including presentations, social media content, case studies, infographics, videos, and other branded collateral.
  • Support the website team by designing and optimizing visual assets, graphics, and page layouts that enhance user experience and align with the company's brand standards.
  • Ensure all creative projects are delivered on time, meet the highest quality standards, and maintain consistency with the company's visual identity and brand guidelines.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, effectively prioritizing tasks and balancing competing deadlines while meeting design specifications and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Content Team to develop video content strategies and oversee the planning, production, editing, and execution of video content across multiple digital channels.
  • Partner with the Lead Designer and Content Team to create engaging video animations, capture and edit original video content, and develop multimedia assets for social media, digital marketing campaigns, internal communications, and the company website.
  • Perform professional image and video retouching, editing, color correction, and enhancement to ensure high-quality visual content across all platforms.
  • Leverage a wide range of creative software—including graphic design, video production, and AI-powered tools—to enhance the quality, efficiency, and production of creative assets, using AI as a tool to support—not replace—creative design expertise.
  • Maintain consistency across all creative deliverables by ensuring compliance with the company's branding, visual identity, and design standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, communications, and other internal stakeholders to translate business objectives into compelling visual communications.

Skills and Experience

Must haves:

  • 1–2+ years of professional graphic design experience in a corporate marketing department, creative agency, or similar fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English (B2 level or higher), with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience developing engaging content for social media platforms, including static graphics, video, and multimedia assets.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in print advertising, digital design, editorial document design, marketing collateral, logo design, multimedia campaigns, and video production, with consistent adherence to corporate brand guidelines.
  • Strong video production, editing, and post-production skills, with the ability to create compelling visual content from concept to final delivery.
  • Ability to create impactful, visually engaging designs for print and digital channels that capture attention, strengthen brand recognition, and maintain consistency with the company's visual identity and brand standards.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate ideas into effective visual communications.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment while consistently delivering high-quality work.
  • Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices for creating intuitive and user-centered digital experiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Advertising Design, Visual Communication, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Ability to interpret, follow, and execute creative direction, design standards, and brand guidelines established by the Senior Graphic Designer and Marketing team.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator), CapCut, Microsoft Office, and other industry-standard creative tools.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered features within creative and editing software to enhance the quality, efficiency, and production of images, videos, and creative assets, using AI as a tool to support—not replace—creative design expertise. 

Nice to haves:

  • Any B2B (Business to Business) work is a plus.
  • Experience with UI/UX design.
  • Spanish speaker
  • Knowledge of WordPress
