Job Description


This is a remote position.


We are looking for a motivated
Python Tester

who believes in quality as a shared responsibility - not an afterthought. You'll be embedded in the development team from day one, writing test plans and tests before developers write code, and actively contributing to the team's success.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a proactive, team-first role. We are not looking for someone who waits for tickets - we want a tester who spots gaps, raises risks early, and actively shapes how quality is built into the product. Test Driven Development is core to how this team works, and you'll lead that effort.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Writing test plans and automated tests ahead of development sprints;

  • Collaborating with developers and the architect to identify edge cases and risk areas;

  • Maintaining and extending the test suite as the codebase evolves;

  • Proactively surfacing quality issues and contributing to retrospectives;

  • Helping establish a culture of quality across the engineering team.


Requirements


  • Practical experience in test automation - frameworks, tooling, and real-world application;

  • Commitment to Test Driven Development (TDD) - writing test plans and test cases before development begins;

  • Ability to fully integrate with a development team and proactively pick up work, not wait for it;

  • Strong written and verbal communication to document test plans and findings clearly;

  • English proficiency at B2 level or above.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience in backend and API testing (REST, async services, etc.);

  • Infrastructure or environment testing experience (cloud, containers, CI pipelines);

  • Exposure to testing AI-generated outputs or probabilistic systems;

  • Familiarity with Python testing libraries (pytest, unittest, etc.).
