As Junior Marketing Communications Manager within the Beauty category, you will have the opportunity to shape how a global brand comes to life for consumers around the world. You will have primary responsibility for the marketing communications agenda for the Female Depilation (FemDep) category (ladys havers, epilators, trimmers, beauty routine care,…), while also contributing to selected Beauty category initiatives, incl Philips Lumea IPL.

Working from consumer and business insights through to creative development and execution, you will lead your own projects, collaborate with global and regional stakeholders, and work closely with agency partners. This is an opportunity to build hands-on experience in global brand building, integrated communications and creative effectiveness, while taking clear ownership of an important

category within the Philips Beauty portfolio.

Your Role

As Junior Marketing Communications Manager, you will lead the marketing communications agenda for the Female Depilation (FemDep) category and contribute to broader Beauty communications priorities incl Philips Lumea IPL.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • FemDep Marketing Communications Ownership: Take primary responsibility for the development and delivery of the global FemDep marketing communications agenda. Build a strong understanding of the category strategy, innovation pipeline, consumer needs and commercial priorities, translating these into clear communication priorities and plans.
  • Integrated Campaign & Content Development: Lead the briefing, development and delivery of global master campaigns and content assets for FemDep, from initial brief through creative development, production and final delivery, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, communication strategy and business objectives.
  • Consumer & Communication Insights: Translate consumer, cultural, category and communication insights into clear creative briefs and communication recommendations. Brief and contribute to research where required to strengthen creative development and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Creative Excellence & Brand Stewardship: Champion high-quality, distinctive and consistent brand communication. Evaluate creative work against the brief, consumer insight, brand strategy and channel requirements, provide clear and constructive feedback to agency partners, and help ensure that work meets Philips Beauty's standards before progressing.
  • Campaign Performance & Optimization: Partner with media and analytics teams to track campaign and creative performance, identify key learnings and translate results into actionable recommendations to continuously improve communication effectiveness.
  • Project & Production Management: Manage marcomms projects, timelines and key milestones, including campaign development, asset delivery and shoot preparation, ensuring high-quality execution on time and within agreed scope.
  • Budget Management: Manage assigned marketing communications and production budgets for FemDep projects, ensuring effective allocation of resources, accurate tracking and responsible delivery against agreed budgets.
  • Agency Management: Manage day-to-day collaboration with creative, production and other agency partners for assigned projects. Develop clear briefs, provide consolidated and actionable feedback, manage deliverables and help ensure efficient, high-quality agency output.
  • Content & Asset Management: Ensure global master assets are developed, delivered and organized effectively across paid, owned and earned touchpoints, with clear guidance to enable strong and consistent market activation.
  • Cross-Functional & Market Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with Consumer Marketing Management, media, CRM, e-commerce, operations, regional and local marketing teams and other key stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and effective activation of global communications.
  • Business & Commercial Understanding: Develop a strong understanding of FemDep business performance, market dynamics, consumer needs and commercial priorities. Ensure communications activity is connected to category objectives, key launches and growth opportunities, and contributes to both brand and business impact.
  • Beauty Category Contribution: Contribute to selected cross-category Beauty initiatives, launches and capability-building projects, bringing ideas and sharing learnings across the wider Marketing Communications team.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve ways of working, briefing quality, creative effectiveness and communication excellence across FemDep and the wider Beauty category.

You're the Right Fit If

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field.
  • You have 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in marketing, marketing communications, brand management or a related field, ideally within an international, consumer-focused or agency environment.
  • You have a strong interest in global brand building, integrated marketing communications and consumer-centric storytelling.
  • You are comfortable taking ownership of projects and driving them forward with multiple stakeholders.
  • You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and can translate strategy, consumer insights and business priorities into clear briefs and recommendations.
  • You have a strong eye for creative quality and brand consistency and are comfortable forming a point of view on creative work.
  • You combine creative thinking with commercial awareness and are interested in understanding how communications contribute to brand and business growth.
  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects, budgets and deadlines effectively.
  • You are proactive, collaborative and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • You are curious and eager to continue developing your expertise across consumer insights, creative development, media, digital, content and marketing effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, social media, e-commerce and content development is an advantage.
  • Experience working with creative, media or production agencies is an advantage.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Experience in video editing/ social media is a plus

In this role, success means becoming a trusted marketing communications partner for the FemDep category: taking ownership, bringing a clear consumer and brand perspective, delivering high-quality work with agencies and stakeholders, and continuously improving the effectiveness of our communications.

Over time, you will build the strategic, creative and commercial capabilities required to progress towards broader Marketing Communications Manager responsibilities within Philips Beauty.

Compensation & benefits

Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is € 48,611.00 - € 81,018.00. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity, local market considerations and internal guidelines for promotions and lateral moves. This role is eligible for 3% short term incentive, with your rewards linked to both individual performance and company results. We’ll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision.
