The Junior Manager – Accounts (Power Trading & Smart Mobility) is responsible for managing day-to-day payment processing and accounting entries in SAP, along with timely statutory payments and return filings for TDS, TCS, and GST. The role supports fund position reporting, MIS preparation, and tracking of Bank Guarantees (BGs), Letters of Credit (LCs), and Fixed Deposits (FDs). It also involves monthly closing activities including treasury runs, provisioning, and coordination for bank reconciliations. The incumbent will handle vendor reconciliations, maintain revenue and transmission charge trackers, and assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits through preparation of audit-ready documentation and supporting schedules.

Responsibilities

Process Management:
Co-ordination with site accountants / stores on daily basis for Store related matters.
Engage with project management team for reconciliation of meter stock and cable stock with joint reconciliation with vendor.
Ensuring accounting of stock related transactions on regular basis.
Act as liaison point between stores / accounts / SAP team.
Verification of vendor invoices of meters, cables, etc. and ensure accounting of same in SAP while fulling terms and conditions of contract.
Reconciliation of vendor accounts.
Verification of sales invoices and ensuring reconciliation with DISCOMs.
SCA Model Preparation
Monthly Estimate & Balance Sheet Preparation
Various CA certifications for lenders and other aspects.
Handling LFA, Internal Audit, Stock Audit, Qtr Audit, Tax Audits, GST audits and handling procedural aspects of GST.
Reconciliation of GST returns of books and ensuring correct input tax credit.
Maintaining various MIS / preparation board presentation, etc.
Monthly reconciliation with vendor for meters and other material within 3 days from end of month.
Billing to customers within 5 days of the end of month
Finalization of monthly accounts by 5th working day of next month
Finalization of different audits within stipulated timelines
Entries in SAP -
Booking of liabilities in SAP and posting payment entries in SAP and Inter-company reconciliation on daily basis.
Thorough scrutiny and analysis of all vendor GLs, Bank GLs, liabilities booked, expenses incurred, payments made etc. on monthly basis.
Clearing of Vendor ledger balances on daily basis.
Booking of expenses provisions for monthly closing.
Treasury run, interest booking, loan creation etc. for monthly closing.
Vendor ledger reconciliation on weekly / monthly basis.
Obtaining of all bank balances and loan balances and respective confirmation from all the banks and other parties for monthly closing.
Obtaining of vendor balance confirmation from all the vendors for monthly closing.
Preparation of data for quarterly Board Presentation, AOP reviews and other management requirements.
Customer and Stakeholder Management:
Close co-ordination within corporate accounts, PMU, Store, Project In-charge, taxation, Secretarial department, Shared service and other department at site.
Statutory Audit, IFCR Audit, Internal Audit, Tax Audit
To provide workings, supporting documents, all banks Balance confirmations, loan statements, treasury reports etc. required for statutory audits, internal audits, IFCR audits, Tax audits.
