The Financial Planning & Operations team is part of Global Finance and is responsible for planning, forecasting, and analytical activities that support business decision-making and provide a comprehensive view of the company's financial health by bringing together financial, operational, and external data.

The team supports long-term planning. They lead the annual planning cycle and monthly forecasting processes. They generate market- and regional-level insights to understand key business drivers. By identifying emerging trends and developing early warning signals, the team helps anticipate risks, uncover growth opportunities, and enable timely, accurate, and data-driven decision-making across the business.

The Specialty businesses include a wide range of business unit from the brand homes, through the Joint Venture structures till the non-standard, non-SAP businesses (e.g. J&B).

About the Role

  • Lead the delivery and ongoing improvement of global financial planning processes across complex markets and regions.

  • Ensure planning activities are completed consistently, efficiently, and according to global standards, governance, and timelines.

  • Partner with senior Finance, functional, and market stakeholders to understand business requirements, address complex planning challenges, improve forecast quality, and enable high-quality business decision-making through robust planning processes and insights.

  • Given the nature of the Specialty business, the role also has a broader Finance scope, including financial accounting and controlling activities, alongside planning and reporting responsibilities.

  • Drive planning improvements in execution, systems enhancements, and analytical capabilities to strengthen planning effectiveness, operational efficiency, and standardization.

  • Monitor planning performance through indicators and governance forums, finding opportunities to strengthen controls and drive continuous improvement.

  • Act as a subject matter expert across assigned accounting, reporting, and planning processes, contributing to cross-functional initiatives, supporting transformation activities, and sharing guidelines across the Planning organization.

About you

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.

  • 6–8 years of relevant Finance experience, with significant exposure to FP&A, financial accounting, financial planning, forecasting, or business performance management.

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end financial forecasting and performance reporting processes, governance, and finance systems.

  • Proven experience leading complex improvement in execution, transformation, or planning initiatives.

  • Strong collaborator management and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships with senior financial and business leaders.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a structured and practical approach.

  • Continuous improvement approach, with the ability to work independently and effectively in a global, matrix organization.

  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
