What will you be doing?

  • Lead significant audit projects – Take charge of complex audit files, ensuring the quality that gives clients confidence in financial reporting.
  • Build trusted client relationships – You’re the go-to contact for your clients, you realise independence and professionalism is crucial in your field yet know the difference a personal approach makes.
  • Deliver peace of mind – Manage the preparation and discussion of opinions letters and financial statements. Your work ensures accurate financial reporting.
  • Mentor and develop – Lead audit teams and junior colleagues, sharing your technical expertise while building the leadership skills that define the next step in your career.
  • Stay ahead of the curve – Get training through BDO Academy and external programs to stay sharp on audit standards, new techniques and regulatory developments.

What do you bring to the table?

Your foundation:

  • Master's degree in Economics or Business Engineering, with additional financial-economic qualifications being a strong asset
  • Minimum 4 years of professional auditing experience where you've demonstrated your technical capabilities and client management skills
  • Fluency in Dutch or French, and English; additional languages are valued and can open doors to our diverse client portfolio

Your personality:

  • Your communication skills are on point, allowing you to deliver your message to colleagues and clients
  • You adapt quickly to new challenges and client needs
  • You demonstrate flexibility and proactive thinking, always seeking solutions rather than just identifying problems
  • You have some people management experience and ambition to grow into senior leadership roles
