Our Client, a Karachi based company, seeks to appoint an experienced and seasoned professional for the following role:

Job Scope

To plan, manage and supervise cost effective maintenance of facility's plant, machinery, equipment and buildings to ensure uninterrupted operation and explore ways to improve on reliability of assets. Handle execution and monitoring of construction/ infrastructure CAPEX projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance & implementation of HSE, Quality, relevant Safe Operating Procedures (SOP) and standards for the maintenance and related construction activities at their assigned facility, using in-house and/or contractor resources. Help IPM-HO to monitor and evaluate the Contractor Performance in terms of HSE Compliance, Quality of Work, Cost and Timely Delivery of product and services.
• Develop/update facility P&IDs (wherever applicable), maintenance plans; and maintain records of all facility drawings (civil, mechanical, electrical/instrument), manuals/catalogues in an orderly manner, to have real-time available database for timely decision making, whenever required.
• Introduce innovative preventive, predictive and proactive maintenance methodologies to reduce breakdown and ensure timely and effective preventive maintenance of facility asset.
• Conduct PEER Reviews and HAZOP Analysis as assigned by Facilities Maintenance Team – Head Office. Review recommendations and plan for execution.
• Act as a Construction Project Support Representative (CPSR) in monitoring construction execution at facility to ensure contractor HSE, Quality and Delivery compliance and maintain project logbooks, jointly with IsC project engineers. Promptly resolve all site issues and concerns with the contractor to help expedite the safe execution of works, keeping project engineers informed at all time.
• Ensure all goods and services of contractors be received diligently and all related documentations, receipts and bills as submitted by the contractors be singed/approved immediately. Contractor's service Invoices (if directly received) be processed within 5 (five) working days after getting approvals from concern authorities.
• Prepare M&R related PR against approved Budgets (REVEX /CAPEX).
• Monitor progress of M&R and Construction related works and ensure timely approvals of all goods and services as received in accordance with the terms and conditions of Work Orders/Contracts, and defined work scope. Maintain all maintenance records, receipt, measurement books and maintenance catalogue etc. To monitor breakdown trends and propose better solutions to bring cost and operational efficiencies in making changes to Maintenance Plans.
• Provide guidance and technical training to junior engineers/DAE, technical assistance to the Installation Managers/Depot In-charge/HOD for proposing present and future developments (CAPEX/REVEX). Administer all facilities maintenance / construction activities to safeguard Company's assets.
• Initiate facility related Appropriation Request (AR) for Capital Budget proposals; coordinate with Operations and Facilities Maintenance teams to help assist in preparing Class 4 Estimate, Work Scope and ample information for justification.
• Undertake any other task or function as maybe desired by the management.

Education

• Minimum 16 years of education, preferably Master's from a renowned and HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder institution, preferably in Engineering.

Experience

• Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 1-2 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in liaison with/ Managing stakeholders for timely resolution day-to-day operational problems pertaining assets/ equipment, preferably in the oil sector.
• Coordinate with corporate Facilities Maintenance Team; for facilities modifications/improvements, technical support, training & development in order to better implement company standards and procedures in all respect.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure Construction/ Projects, in providing technical details and support for major construction projects (civil, mechanical, electrical/instruments).
• Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure prompt execution of projects/M&R works at site.
• Ensuring HSE Compliance during execution of M&R / Projects jobs, within the time stipulated etc.

Age
