Junior Management Analyst, Intern:

Bowhead is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Management Analyst Intern to join the Advance Technologies Group (ATG) team for the summer. This role is designed for current students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in business operations, data analysis, and process improvement. You will work closely with senior analysts to study business structures, analyze operational data, and help design solutions that improve efficiency and solve complex business problems.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection: Gather operational, financial, and performance data through research, interviews, and system reports.
• Data Analysis: Clean, organize, and analyze datasets to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Process Mapping: Document current business workflows and help create "as-is" and "to-be" process maps.
• Report Generation: Assist in drafting technical reports, proposals, and presentations for management review.
• Administrative Support: Maintain project documentation, track action items, and schedule team meetings.
• System Testing: Help evaluate new software tools or operational systems implemented by the team.
• Other duries as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Current enrollment in, or recent graduation from, a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and PowerPoint. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) or process mapping software (Visio) is a plus.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex processes into manageable parts.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: There are currently no Security Clearance requirements for this position; however, candidates must be able to successfully pass a background check. Due to the location of this work, US Citizenship is required. Bowhead reserves the right to change this requirement if necessitated by business needs or contractual obligations.
