Job Location: 21st Street Campus - SANTA MONICA, CA 904049040
Position Type: Seasonal
Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 Hourly

- Have the ability to confidently assist with private swim lessons as well as small group lessons
- Helps to prevent injury by enforcing pool rules
- Act as part of the rescue team in the event of any emergency while on duty at the aquatic facility
- Must attend the preseason in-service training

Qualifications
- Acquire CPR/First Aid certification prior to working a shift
- - The ideal candidate will have completed a junior lifeguarding program
- Must be at least 14 years of age or in high school
- Must be able to pass a background check or secure a work permit if still in high school
Physical Demands:
- Must have the ability to swim 400 yards in 10 minutes, 30 seconds.
- Must be able to tread water for 2 minutes without use of arms.
- Must be able to assist in removing a victim from the water using a backboard.
