Key Responsibilities 1. Tax Remittance Draft monthly tax remittance letters on behalf of clients. Check tax receipts thoroughly for accuracy of contents and figures upon receipt. Ensure all tax returns and payments are submitted within prescribed statutory deadlines. Reconcile tax accounts and investigate and resolve discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of signed tax remittance letters and supporting tax proofs. Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on client obligations. Coordinate with Payroll and other relevant departments to obtain accurate information for tax remittance. Respond to tax-related queries and provide supporting documentation during audits or tax inspections. Assist with tax audits, assessments, reconciliations, and resolution of tax issues. Ensure appropriate controls are in place to minimise errors, penalties, and interest arising from late or incorrect tax remittances. Prepare periodic reports on outstanding tax matters for management review. 2. KYC Review Review global In-Country Partners' KYC documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity. Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) where applicable. Conduct periodic and event-driven KYC reviews in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Identify inconsistencies, missing information, unusual circumstances, or potential compliance concerns. Ensure appropriate supporting documentation is obtained and maintained . Maintain accurate , up-to-date KYC records and properly document review outcomes. Follow up with relevant teams to obtain outstanding or updated documentation. Ensure KYC reviews are completed within prescribed timeframes . Maintain strict confidentiality of client and partner information at all times.
