The role is based in Rotterdam, with flexibility to work two days from home.

Scope of the Role

  • You build and nurture strong customer relationships, quickly understanding their needs and turning insights into concrete business opportunities. You spot potential early and aren’t afraid to take bold initiative or bring fresh ideas to the table.

  • You negotiate, develop, and execute customer‑specific business plans with clear goals and sharp strategies that drive revenue growth and strengthen market position.

  • You lead business reviews with your customers, translate insights into action, and take full ownership internally to ensure an outstanding customer experience.

  • You track and analyze customer performance with precision — from sell‑in and sell‑out to market share and ROI — ensuring seamless execution of your business plan.

  • You play an active role in key internal processes such as budget tracking, monthly landing, forecast reviews, and business team meetings, contributing to transparency, alignment, and strong decision‑making.

  • You ensure smooth and effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams including trade marketing, marketing, customer service, and demand planning, enabling fast and coordinated execution.

Experience Required

  • You bring 1–2 years of sales experience in FMCG or retail and hold a university degree or equivalent.

  • You know how to build and steer impactful business plans and negotiate with confidence.

  • You work analytically, understand the numbers behind the business, and translate insights into sharp, targeted actions.

  • You’re driven by results, move with urgency, and take full ownership to reach your targets.

  • You’re flexible, agile, and bring a strong winner’s mindset.

  • You communicate clearly, connect easily with others, and build trust quickly.

  • You have a hands‑on, entrepreneurial approach and a strong can‑do attitude.

  • You thrive in teamwork and enjoy close collaboration with sales and cross‑functional colleagues.

  • You speak Dutch and English fluently.
