The activity of SIX domain: mission critical solutions and applications for assets and citizens security (supervision, control and information management systems) as well as cybersecurity. Thales offers solutions to protect the information systems and critical data of its civilian and military customers and helps its customers to detect and prevent cyberattacks by devising secure architectures from the design stage, overseeing these architectures and ensures that they are kept in secure working order. Italy is Thales Group’s competence centre for Airport security and operations management solutions.

Roles & Responsabilities

As a member of the Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification (IVVQ)
team for Thales Italy PRS software solutions, the IVVQ Engineer Intern will support the team in integration, verification and validation activities under the guidance of experienced engineers.
The intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience throughout the
software development lifecycle, contributing to software integration, testing and validation activities while learning the company's processes, tools and
methodologies.

Key responsibilities include

• Support software integration and verification activities according to project requirements.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of test cases and test procedures.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including test specifications and test reports.
• Support the validation of software interfaces and system functionalities under the supervision of senior team members.
• Participate in troubleshooting activities, helping to identify, reproduce and document software issues.
• Support verification and validation activities by executing tests, collecting results and documenting findings.
• Collaborate with development, engineering and project teams to communicate test outcomes and support issue resolution.
• Maintenance support activities may include:
• Helping to reproduce reported issues and collect relevant technical information.
• Assisting in issue classification and documentation before escalation to senior support teams when necessary.
• Learning from available documentation, procedures and knowledge-sharing sessions to continuously develop technical skills.

QUALIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Technical High School Degree or Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science
• Good analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Able to work in various working environments in office and smart working
• Able to effectively achieve objectives with teamwork
• Able to work in multicultural and multilanguage environment
