Junior IT Security Specialist (m/f/d)

What You Will Be Doing?

• Monitor systems for security breaches and anomalies.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and alerts.
• Conduct forensic analysis when necessary.
• Develop and enforce IT security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Support execution of the Group IT Security Program.
• Monitor global IT security topics.
• Work with IT teams, legal, and management to align security with business goals.
• Report on security posture, incidents, and improvements.
• Monitor risks that could affect IT services in accordance with defined procedures for service and business continuity.
• Ensure that IT service providers can provide minimum agreed service levels, especially in case of disaster.
• Perform service continuity program operations, reporting, and daily activities.
• Execute continuous updates, tests, and monitoring of systems and services.

What Do You Need for the Position?

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in a technology-related field and/or adequate work experience in this field.

We expect:

• 2+ years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT roles.
• Degree in a technology-related field or adequate work experience in this field.
• Knowledge of common information security management frameworks.
• Good knowledge / understanding of relevant IT areas (IT Infrastructure, Networking, SW Development, etc.).
• Innovative thinking and ability to think out of the box.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high level of personal integrity.
• Experience with vendor management including managed services.
• Adequate English language skills for a professional working environment.
