Would you like to play an active role in shaping our success story? As a (Junior) IT Security Engineer (m/f/x), you will support our internal IT department at our headquarter in Saarbrücken and play a key role in continuously enhancing the security of our IT infrastructure. You will analyse security incidents, oversee incident response measures and assess risks during day-to-day operations. In doing so, you will operate and optimise our security solutions, particularly within the Microsoft environment, including the security of cloud- and AI-based functions. In addition, you will carry out vulnerability analyses, implement effective hardening measures and assist in the further development of our security policies. You will also play an active role in ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 and support us with documentation. In this way, you will make an important contribution to the stability and future-proofing of our entire IT landscape.

Your profile: 

• Completed apprenticeship or a degree in IT or a comparable qualification
• Initial professional experience in IT security or IT operations
  Basic understanding of networks, Microsoft environments and security tools
• An interest in optimising and further developing IT security
• Fluency in German and a good command of English 
• A structured, independent and solution-oriented approach to work, combined with a strong team spirit
