The Opportunity:
Join our team at SAFC as a Junior Graphic Designer and bring your creativity to life in a vibrant, fast-paced environment! In this exciting role, you’ll craft eye-catching digital assets, social media graphics, print materials, matchday content, and web visuals — all aligned with our club’s brand and campaign objectives. Working closely with the Brand & Creative Manager or Senior Graphic Designer, you’ll transform concepts into compelling visual designs, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely delivery. You’ll manage projects from initial idea to final artwork, preparing files for both print and digital production. This role offers the chance to develop your skills across a variety of design tasks, stay updated on current trends in football and sport, and contribute fresh ideas to support our marketing efforts. Your attention to detail and passion for design will help maintain the iconic SAFC brand across all touchpoints. What We Ask For:
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of professional design experience, including a portfolio showcasing real-world work. You must be confident working independently, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and experience designing for digital and social media platforms. A strong understanding of brand guidelines and visual hierarchy is essential, along with the ability to interpret briefs and respond to feedback. Attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment are crucial. You should be a collaborative team player with clear communication skills. Desirable skills include experience in sport or high-energy environments, knowledge of motion graphics, print processes, and basic photography. A basic DBS check will be provided by SAFC.
You will be required to obtain a basic DBS through SAFC.
Location and eligibility: This is a full-time, on-site role based at the Stadium of Light and Academy of Light. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, as we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
