About the role

Junior Frontend Engineers join one of our product teams and grow into full ownership of frontend features with the support of senior colleagues around you.

Across every team, the model is the same: small, autonomous groups and a weekly release cycle. You'll be guided through the full lifecycle of a feature — from problem to production — while building the judgement to eventually own that lifecycle yourself.

What you'll do

• Impact millions of users with every change you push to production.
• Learn to work within our shared frontend codebase — contribute to the monorepo that powers our iOS, Android, Web and Desktop apps, with a focus on efficiency and code reuse.
• Participate in the full feature lifecycle — help shape requirements, build, test, ship and monitor your work, with support from your team at every step.
• Develop an eye for code quality and maintainability — we're a product company here for the long run, so you'll learn why code health matters as much as shipping quickly.
• Work in compact, autonomous teams with short release cycles — learn to balance process against velocity as part of an agile, independent team.
• Learn from your colleagues and share your own knowledge — take part in honest, mutual feedback that helps you and the team grow.

What you need to have

• Solid HTML, CSS and JavaScript fundamentals.
• Some hands-on experience with React or React Native — through coursework, personal projects, internships or prior work.
• A developing understanding of state management concepts in frontend applications.
• An eye for detail.
• Great communication skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to TypeScript.
• Personal or open-source projects built with React or React Native.
• Ongoing or completed CS education.
