DIRECTLY REPORTS TO:

Software Development Team Lead

MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

The primary responsibility of the Junior Front-End Developer is the translation of the UX/UI design wireframes to technical implementations that will produce the visual elements of an application. The Front-End Developer will also assume responsibility for writing the front-end logic and UI validation of an application.

TASKS:

• Develop, test, build and coordinate the creation, conversion and/or integration of a new user interface on Sprouts product based on requirements.
  
• Resolve Front-End/User Interface issues or problems of the software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
  

• Provide support and/or investigate issues in the software

• Participate in daily scrum meetings and other Sprint Activities/Meetings

• Ensures all engineered designs are responsive.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the company

QUALIFICATIONS | COMPETENCIES:

• Knowledgeable in standards compliant, accessible, and SEO friendly HTML
  

• Familiarity with layout techniques such as flexbox, grid and floats.

• Broad knowledge of CSS including selectors, specificity, and the cascade.

• Experience with JavaScript and Familiarity with TypeScript including ES2015+ and ES modules.

• Basic Knowledge with Frontend Frameworks (React, Vue).

• Basic understanding and usage of Version Control systems such as Git or TFVC preferably in Azure Repos.

• Agile / Scrum development process knowledge is a plus.
