As a Junior Fraud Analyst, you run the day to day operations: working alert queues, reviewing accounts and transactions, verifying customer documentation, defending chargebacks and escalating cases that need a senior call. The volume is high and the pace is quick, working to established rules and criteria with a clear audit trail behind every action.

What you’ll build with us:

The role sits within the Payments Fraud & Risk team, learning directly from its experienced leaders. Beyond the core caseload, there's exposure to live incidents and post incident reviews, and the chance to spot patterns individual alerts don't surface. This is the first step on a fraud prevention career path, with a clear route to Fraud Analyst for those who show accuracy, sound judgement and data led decisions.

The impact you’ll make:

• Work assigned fraud alert, review and verification queues to defined service levels, applying established rules, screening criteria and standard reports
• Escalate suspicious behaviour or policy violations identified during reviews through the defined escalation route
• Record complete, accurate case notes and audit trails for every action, handing over each shift cleanly with open cases, volume anomalies and emerging issues documented
• Build chargeback and payment dispute evidence packs ready for review and submission
• Resolve fraud related escalations from stakeholders within agreed response times
• Spot patterns across accounts and cases that individual alerts don't surface, referring them on for deeper analysis
• Support the team through live fraud incidents and contribute to post-incident reviews, while surfacing procedural gaps and recurring false positives so procedures can be improved

Your track record:

• 1-2 years' experience in fraud, payments, KYC or a comparable operational role
• Available to work extended hours on a published roster, including a weekend rotation
• Solid numerical and data literacy, confident in spreadsheets and operational dashboards
• Attention to detail, with the ability to hold that standard through a high-volume queue
• Clear, concise written communication
• Discretion when handling sensitive customer and financial information

Bonus points if you also have:

• iGaming and AML exposure
• Experience working with large sets of data
• An understanding of SQL queries
