Junior Fixed Operations Associate – Technicianreports to the Service Manager
Area of Responsibility
Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy,in accordance withLithia and manufacturerstandards
Diagnose cause of malfunction
Complete all work according to the applicable safetyrequirements
Work with supervisor/mentor toride along onroad-tests ofvehicles to ensure quality of repairwork
Accurately record time spentonrepairs,utilizingcompany time clocking procedures
Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results
Use shoptools,supplies and materials in a practical and economicalmanner
Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.
Ensure thatcustomer’svehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
Participate in andutilizetechnical training as assigned bymanagement
Review the technical bulletins and other publications as assigned bymanagement
Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel asrequiredto satisfy customer needs.
Report tomanagementany situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.
Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards according to departmental policies.
Arrive at work, take breaks, anddepartwork at the timesdesignatedby management.
