Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Financial Reporting Analyst to support the Bank’s Finance Department in the preparation and analysis of financial information, contributing to accurate and timely reporting in line with IFRS, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. The role is designed for early‑career professionals or graduates, offering structured on‑the‑job training and exposure to core financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis processes within a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the collection, consolidation, and basic analysis of financial data, including Budget, Income Statement, and Forecast information.
  • Assist in the preparation of internal management reports, dashboards, and analytical summaries under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Monitor financial performance by comparing actual results with budgets, forecasts, and business plan assumptions, supporting basic variance analysis.
  • Perform data validation and basic financial reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency across financial reports and systems.
  • Assist in preparing supporting documentation and working files for internal reviews and external audits.
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual Bank Budget and the three‑year Business Plan, gaining exposure to planning and forecasting processes.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the documentation of financial reporting procedures, policies, and internal controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in financial reporting, analysis, and banking or corporate finance.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles; knowledge of IFRS will be considered an asset.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel; familiarity with reporting systems or financial tools will be considered a plus.
  • Good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical and analytical skills within a structured finance environment.
  • Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail, supported by strong organizational and time‑management abilities to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Team‑oriented collaboration, working effectively with colleagues across departments while maintaining a professional, reliable, and accountable work ethic.
  • Commitment to continuous development, demonstrating openness to feedback and a proactive approach to learning and improving performance.
