Your Everyday at Nexi
As a Junior Financial Controller, you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Rzeszów. Join our Finance team and help deliver financial insights that support key business decisions across the organization. As a Junior Financial Controller, you will be responsible for preparing reports, analyses, forecasts, and business recommendations for a wide range of stakeholders.

Employment type: Fixed-term replacement contract

About Your Future Role
In this position, you will:

  • Prepare cyclical financial reports in line with established reporting schedules.
  • Support budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
  • Develop ad hoc analyses, financial models, business case studies, and commercial calculations.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and prior-year results, identify variances, and provide explanations.
  • Participate in the preparation of financial forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Support the development and enhancement of reporting tools and Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Prepare data for month-end closing and management reporting, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and NWC reports.
  • Support reporting activities for external institutions and stakeholders.
  • Act as a business partner for managers by providing financial analyses, recommendations, and KPI monitoring support.
  • Assist in preparing materials for Management Board and Supervisory Board meetings.

What We Value in You

Essential Qualifications:

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Financial Controlling, Financial Analysis, Business Analysis, or a similar area.
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with Power Query and PowerPoint.
  • VBA knowledge will be an advantage.
  • Understanding of management accounting principles, budgeting, and cost controlling.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and taxation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and forecasting techniques.
  • Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Very good command of English (written and spoken) and fluent Polish language skills.


Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools and reporting solutions.
  • Experience preparing presentations and reports for senior management.
