Your place in our story
The Junior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the Financial Reporting Team in completing the financial and management reports, and various analyses pertaining to entities within the Minto Group. The Junior Financial Analyst will be highly motivated and expected to exhibit the highest attention to detail while working on various financial analysis and reporting deliverables. Other valued attributes include a strong work ethic, capacity to work independently, and consistent performance with a sense of urgency and commitment.

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary accounting, finance, business, or related co-op program
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; specifically, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Experience preparing financial statements and performing account reconciliations and/or financial analysis is an asset
Experience with Workiva and OneStream is considered an asset
Ability to learn and effectively use new technology tools
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail; this includes evaluating and
recommending possible improvements
Ability to function efficiently under pressure in order to meet various deadlines
Ability to frequently transition between working independently and supporting team initiatives
Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and other departments; this includes excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Hiring pay range rate: $22-24/hour
