About the Role

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a junior Financial Adviser to join our Adelaide team and develop within an established national advice business.

You will be based in our close-knit Adelaide office, where you will work alongside and learn from highly experienced advisers while benefiting from the systems, resources and specialist support of the broader PictureWealth team.

The role is ideal for someone who is ready to grow beyond a support or associate position and develop into a confident, capable holistic adviser. You will work directly with clients, understand their goals and deliver advice across areas such as wealth creation, superannuation, retirement planning, personal insurance, investments, tax considerations and estate planning.

You will be supported to gradually take greater ownership of client relationships and more complex advice as your capability and confidence grow.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Client Relationships and Advice

• Conduct client meetings, including discovery, fact-finding, strategy, implementation and review meetings.
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and develop a strong understanding of their goals, circumstances and priorities.
• Deliver goals-based holistic advice that helps clients make confident financial decisions.
• Support prospective client meetings and contribute to the onboarding of new clients.
• Conduct annual reviews and maintain ongoing relationships with clients.

Strategy and Recommendations

• Research and develop appropriate financial strategies and recommendations.
• Prepare advice across superannuation, retirement planning, investments, insurance, wealth creation, tax considerations and estate planning.
• Complete financial modelling and scenario analysis using financial planning software.
• Develop investment recommendations, portfolio allocations and supporting advice documentation.
• Work with senior advisers on complex client strategies and technical matters.

• Follow the PictureWealth financial planning process and professional standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely client records, including completing high-quality file notes within required timeframes.
• Ensure advice is appropriate, clearly documented and delivered in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Work closely with client service, paraplanning and implementation teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Delegate and coordinate non-advice follow-up activities with the appropriate support teams.

Technology and Enablement

• Use PictureWealth’s advice technology, systems and processes to work efficiently and improve the client experience.
• Maintain accurate client and advice information across relevant platforms.
• Embrace new tools and smarter ways of working as our advice model continues to evolve.

• Learn directly from experienced advisers and technical specialists.
• Participate in professional development, training and team education.

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who is motivated by the opportunity to become an exceptional holistic adviser—not simply someone looking for their next job.

You will ideally bring:

• Early-career experience within financial advice, whether as a Financial Adviser or in a senior Associate Adviser role.
• Completion of the Professional Year and all education and professional requirements necessary to be authorised and registered to provide personal financial advice in Australia.
• A sound understanding of holistic financial planning strategies.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to build rapport with clients.
• Genuine curiosity about clients’ lives, goals and financial circumstances.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when preparing advice and maintaining client records.
• A commitment to ethical, compliant and client-first advice.
• The ability to work collaboratively with advisers, paraplanners and client service professionals.
• A growth mindset and a genuine desire to learn from experienced people.
• An interest in using technology to deliver better and more efficient advice.
